Requirements
Your child has decided to be a part of the CPS Extension Uke Group.
Our mission is to learn and perform advanced musical pieces
in order to inspire the greater school community with
musical prowess and the virtues of teamwork!
Extension ukers need:
• A ukulele at home that is in tune
• Encouragement to play at least 10 minutes a day
• A quiet space and time in order to play / practice
• To be able to confidently play the C Major Scale on the uke (video below)
• To be able to play the chords C, C7, F, G, G7, D7, Am - Chord Chart Here
It would be of great benefit if you can assist in your child's home practice, and to remind them every Thursday to bring their music folder to school.
